Inspector Hector Color Changing Liquid Soap: Top Secret Grape

Reviewer: Eric

I am onto you Inspector Hector. You are saying your products are good for kids. How can your color changing liquid soap be good for kids? Oh wait a second you say your hands will change colors. That way children will know it is time to stop washing their hands. I highly doubt it but hey lets see if Hector isn’t lying to us.

What is so top secret about Top Secret Grape? I have no idea because Hector is a liar! This liquid soap is supposed to change colors when your hands are being washed. If this is the case how come the soap slightly changes colors when I am washing my hands? Slightly Hector, SLIGHTLY!!!

My hands have been washed a lot with this liquid soap. After going to the bathroom numerous times I used Inspector Hector’s soap and what I got was a tiny dots breaking away, making my hands white with a slightly purple color. The soap container makes it seem like your hands will completely change colors when your hands are washed. Slight change and guess what the purple vanished pretty fast.

Does this soap only change colors when on the hands of a child? That seems unlikely so Hector is just ripping off parents across the globe with this liquid soap. But hey Top Secret Grape does have a cool feature about it and that feature deals with the smell.

Top Secret Grape does smell like grape. It smells so good that I really wanted to lick it up. If Inspector Hector just advertised this soap as a really good smelling soap for kids I would pat Hector on the shoulder. Of course I can’t do that…

I did kind of find it amusing that this liquid soap is for children and it says that on the cover. Right on the back of the plastic container it says in real big print that you should keep this out of reach from children. What the hell should you do? Stand in the bathroom with your kids all the time and give them soap? What does Hector want us to do?

The price tag on this soap is pricey. The price ranges from $3 to $5. I was lucky enough to get it on sale so this soap didn’t seem that badly priced. When you do compare it to most kid’s soaps then Inspector Hector is not the best value, mainly since it does not come in a cool case like Batman, Spider-Man, or Hello Kitty.

Final Verdict
Inspector Hector Color Changing Liquid Soap: Top Secret Grape is going to end up in your bathroom at some point if you have children. If you are an adult with no kids but you get excited over products for children then pick up Inspector Hector’s liquid soap, slam it down and give it the finger. Hector is lying to us with his color changing soap. Sure it smells good but I would rather buy soap that doesn’t toy with my emotions.
