Rock 'n Rollers will finally be able to get their hands on the latest from Lemmy and the gang while others will be eager to learn that psychedelic space rockers, The Verve, have reunited for their fourth release in eleven years.

Where did the love go? Music this week is a little stale, but we do have some new releases that are note worthy. The third album frp, Hawthorne Heights is out this week along with the latest from Trapt. Whatever you decide to do this week just make sure you avoid the new Norma Jean album, it isn't that good.

Bison B.C. - Quiet Earth - With only five years under their belt in the music industry, Bison B.C. is days away from releasing their major label debut, Quiet Earth. This album has everything to make any metal fan happy, but can Bison B.C. really blend thrash and doom metal elements on all eight tracks?

Delta - Black & Cold - Delta have been building up quite a name for themselves after opening for major acts such as Stratovarius and Dream Theater. With Nightmare Records support, they are getting a U.S. release in hopes to spread their name to a wider population outside of their homeland. Was Black & Cold the right moment to expose them to the rest of the nation?

Meliah Rage - Death Valley Dream - Meliah Rage is characterized must notably as a thrash metal band and have some history as well. They have been around since the 80's and have released a total of seven albums. Although this album was originally released in 1996, it is now being re-released via Locomotive Records. Does the re-release of this CD mark excellence or mediocrity?

Cloudscape - Global Drama - After two successful releases, the progressive power metal band from Sweden, Cloudscape, are back with their heaviest and most progressive album to date. Will Global Drama be the album that generates enough buzz to make them a ‘global’ phenomenon?

Lanfear - X to the Power of Ten - Lanfear has been keeping a low profile since 2005s Another Golden Rage. During these three years this melodic heavy metal band has put together an album worthy of the wait. Could X to the Power of Ten really be the best album Lanfear has released in their entire career?

Fairytale Abuse - Perversions of Angel VI - No matter how you put it black metal is just black metal. The lyrics are typically in the nature of anything satanic and the musicians tend to dress up like its Halloween all the time. Fairytale Abuse might not follow all these paths, but they still play black metal, right to the core.

Heavenly - Virus - Heavenly is one of those bands that release new albums under the radar. If you are able to get a hold of their albums then you will experience a breed of power metal that is better than the modern style. With Virus Heavenly is hoping to continue on the same winning streak and it looks like they have.

Lykke Li - Youth Novels - Swedish songwriter Lykke Li is having her first full length released worldwide. The United States got the last release date on the schedule with a August release date. Was it worth the wait to hear the first full length from up and coming indie star Lykke Li?

Doro - All We Are: The Fight EP - Before we can even see a new Doro album Locomotive Records released a small EP back in late 2007. What makes this a gem amongst other Doro releases is the fact it features five tracks and five videos. Is this what it takes to feed our Doro hunger for the next eternity?

Motörhead - Motörizer - Since 1975 Motörhead has been true to their word by saying their famous line, "We are Motörhead, and play Rock'n Roll." Motörhead's latest endeavor is called "Motörizer" and if the sheer excitement of a new Motörhead album doesn't blow you away, then nothing will.

Slipknot - All Hope is Gone - Slipknot has seen shining stars with their 2004 release Vol.3: (The Subliminal Verses). The band as a whole is use to high record sales and numerous awards, either from the industry or magazines. All Slipknot can do right now is get bigger, but that isn’t the case with All Hope is Gone.

Early Graves - We: The Guillotine - Anything with core in it usually can’t be that good. That is a safe assumption with We: The Guillotine, the latest album from deathcore band Early Graves. Everything you have heard before from this genre is in here, along with random track titles.

DragonForce - Ultra Beatdown - Striving to maintain the recent success the band has been having, they return with their fourth full length album, Ultra Beatdown. But don’t worry. There is no way it could be a disaster. After all, they have a song in a video game, so it’s got to be good… right?!

Showdown, The - Back Breaker - Christian metal band The Showdown decided to take a different approach with their third full length release. Back Breaker is one of those albums that will make you question the band as a whole. Could this be the same band that’s been releasing music since 2004?

Forever Slave - Tales for Bad Girls - Women in the metal scene almost spell success right away. Even before anybody can listen to their single or an entire album, men will buy the album for the attractive female. Forever Slave is another band that has an attractive female, but is their music as good as Lady Angellyca’s looks?
