Do you need a reason to play Wii Sports again? Probably not because Wii Sports is one of the best games the Wii has right now. Mud Duck Productions thought it would be great to release a bowling game that we had to pay for? Should you add this bowling game to your collection or is Wii Sports the only bowling game you need?

This game is pretty much a waste of time. Not only is it a waste of time it’s a waste of money. If you add this game to your collection you obviously hate yourself. The bowling game on Wii Sports was the best game in the pack and you would think it all bowling games would be fun on the Wii. It turns out you can make a bad bowling game on the Wii and AMF knows the formula.

I always make the joke that left handed people are not normal. The Wii proved this wrong and let players pick left handed as an option. AMF Bowling Pinbusters took my joke and added it in this game. Left handed people are out of luck with this game. You better learn to use your right hand or don’t think about buying this game. I would go with the second choice.

What else does this game not have in it? You can’t add in your Mii, but then again not too many companies let you use your Mii character. Instead of using your Mii you’ll be able to pick from ten different characters. The characters in this are so bad it’s not even funny.

The designers of the game pretty much stole everything that was good in Wii Sports bowling and ruined it. For the most part the controls are excatley the same, but for some reason they ball never seems to go in a straight line. As hard as I tried I could never get the ball in a perfect straight line. There was one occasion where I did get a strike and I wish this never happened. My characters actions when I made a strike were so bad.

AMF Bowling: Pinbusters does have a few new features in it. None of them really make the game worth while though. Holy cow I can play on different bowling lanes. All of these stages just start to feel the same after awhile. Pool, the only unique game mode in the game, is enjoyable at times. Instead of throwing the ball and hitting pins you have to roll your ball, hit another ball and hopefully that ball will hit pins.

Final Verdict
Here is another Wii game you should avoid. The gameplay is worse than the perfect Wii Sports bowling game. I never got into this game too much and thankfully it won’t be staying in my collection. Pinbusters is a good game though to piss off a buddy of yours that rocks at bowling. When he/she tries this game they’ll have the hardest time making a strike, making them angry.
