Depending on what you’re looking for, this game can be great or suck. If you just straight up love fighting games, this is a buy for you. If you just want a button mashing fight game that will give you some fun when you only have 20 minutes before you have to go to work you’re gonna have to pass on this one.

This is my review. This game gives all you SF junkies a long deserved break from facing the Ken rookie army that has taken over the online in SFIV, because it seems that only the hardcore players play online in this one. That is also where you non junkies may not like this. To hold your own online, you definitely have to know what you’re doing with the character you choose. If not, you will be beaten down repeatedly online and in arcade mode.

The graphic update to HD is clearly amazing. They definitely wanted to make sure you got your money’s worth with it. The soundtrack is just as you remembered it. And all the moves are essentially the same. It gives you the option of HD Remix or classic mode when selecting what you want to do. There’s not too much more to say about this classic except for the verdict.

Final Verdict
Since this is a mixed review for the hardcore players who will love it, and the casual fighting game players that will hate it. I have to say whichever you pick, this can be a pass or a buy. So I’ll meet you around half way.

I wouldn’t pay full price for this game. What I would do is find a good deal on this game, the purchase it. It is worth a shot for the story and a few neat features. But paying full price for what looks like an original Xbox game? It is a crime.
