Flower is the type of game that will either blow your mind away or make you
wonder why you just spent $10 for a game like this. Flower is like no other game
on the PSN store right now and that for sure is a good thing. No other
Playstation 3 game right now offers as much as Flower does for such a small
price.
This game will leave you with a new sense of mind during the first few minutes
of gameplay. A game that looks and play this well makes you wonder why most Wii
games don’t feel this good. Yes Flower makes you use the PS3 controller to
control again but this time around it works right. You control a flower petal
and there is nothing that can stop you.
Control a flower petal? That’s right; Flower is like no other game out there,
literally. You play the dreams of different plotted plants, that is the whole
purpose of the game. It might not sound like much but the gameplay is really
fun!
You go around the different dreams/stages collecting petals. The more petals you
earn the more of the actual stage you’ll unlock. Sooner or later you will come
to the end of a stage, though there are secrets throughout the game that adds
more gameplay to Flower.
Flower has some of the most impressive graphics, if not on the entire system
then at least as a downloadable release. As beautiful the scenery is at first
you will be blown away when things change as you progress through the stages.
Landscapes will change from dying mounds to flourishing green areas.
The challenge to the game is to collect every petal which is as easy as it
sounds. The only real challenge to this game is figuring out the riddle-like
trophies. If this wasn’t in the game then Flower would be way too simple.
Final Verdict
Flower controllers way too good that it is scary. This is the kind of game that
should be purchased by everyone that owns a Playstation 3. Ten dollars for this
game is well worth the price. My only real problem here is the challenge, but
trust me some of those trophy descriptions might add an extra hour or two of
gameplay.
