Arizona Half Iced Tea & Half Mango

Reviewer: Eric

The Half and Half line of Arizona drinks have been popping almost every now-a-days. Half Iced Tea & Half Mango is one of the newer flavors and from my first sip I was trying to overcome the real sweet mango flavor. This is the half and half brand, why do I only taste mango instead of the two flavors that are on the can?

I tried real hard to find some iced tea flavoring. My taste buds just could not find anything. What I did taste, other than the strong mongo flavor, was a peach like after taste. Instead of some iced tea flavoring I got more fruit? If I am not mistaken Arizona makes plain juice drinks. Couldn’t they have skipped this drink and just stick with a mango juice instead?

This 23 fluid ounce can does have a slight problem, more than what I have already said. Normally when you are on the go you will buy one of these drinks to have right away. That is good and all but this bad boy serves three people. This gives each person around 8 fluid ounces (one person will get screwed). Do you suck it up and down a whole can or have your friends enjoy in your disappointing beverage?

Per serving you are looking at 50 calories. There are 13 grams of sugar so if you drink one can you may want to walk a little bit. Hey at least there is 5% juice in here. Maybe mom will let you drink a 23 ounce can instead of normal juice.

Final Verdict

When I buy a drink called Half Iced Tea & Half Mango I expected to taste both of these flavors, not a real sweet mango juice with a peach aftertaste. This Arizona beverage is a real let down so I may not be buying another one anytime soon. Iced tea and mango fans may want to wait until another company tries to put these two flavors together.

I am glad you enjoy this drink but I think it is not that good. Either you need to try it again or continue enjoying it. Maybe you should try the Half Iced Tea and Half Lemonade. That drink is a gift from the Heavens.

It is pure epic deliciousness. I think you should ignore the label and accept the sunshine and gloriously amazing yumness for what it offers on the inside. You admit the mango wasn't overwhelming though right? It makes my heart sing. That is all that needs to be said.
