The News (12/14/09)
Winter time brings illnesses and I am one who keeps getting those illnesses.
Christmas time is almost here and I bet all of you have been figuring out what to get your friends and family for the holidays. I hope you listened to what I had to say about Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 because that is one game I would not get a loved one. It's overrated, period. I would go as far as saying that is a fact but some might get mad at me since it isn't an official fact yet.
What you should get, video game wise, is either Borderlands (Xbox 360 or PS3), Uncharted 2 (PS3), or Forza 3 (Xbox 360). Everyone better own Uncharted 2 by now but if you don't then buy it ASAP. As much as I love Borderlands I would have to say Uncharted 2 is that much better. The story is great and the online modes are a real blast. See haters the Playstation 3 has some good games.
I think this might be the year where I look at everything that came out and make some Top 10 listens. Not only that maybe do some reviews on the actual consoles for the whole year. As much as I am enjoying my PS3 this year they still have yet to show why Home is worth while. Oh but then it comes to the Wii...only one game saved that console this year and everyone knows which game that is.
Oh yeah in oder to get ready for some of the sequels next year I bought the older games. Pretty random but I am glad. Off the top of my head the one I have beennnn playing the most is Army of Two. My review on that game will post soon, trust me. If you are waiting for the second game make sure to reserve it as GameStop. By doing so you will get a coupon for $10 off the purchase of the game. $5 reserve + $10 off coupon = $45 plus tax. Well worth it.
