What do you do when a companies website completely screws up the actually plot of an issue? Gotham City Sirens #3 is just a big pile of mess. I thought the series was about the women of Gotham City but now it is about the Riddler? Would somebody please explain to me what is really going on?

Gotham City Sirens #3 is about the Riddler like I already said. The Riddler is one of those characters from the Batman Universe that some what got lost. If not lost the character was thrown in a weird story that is way over due for some changing. But hey at least he can solve a mystery for us in this issue.

I liked how the series was about the women in Gotham City. If you want to be anal about it there are women in this issue but none of them seem to have a big role. Maybe the Riddler is getting a sex change and we don’t know it yet. Or maybe the series doesn’t know which direction to go in.

Seeing Batman and the Riddler team-up (in ways) is nothing new. It leads to some moments where Batman (remember it’s not Bruce any more) does not completely trust/agree with the Riddler. Without spoiling anything you can pretty much figure out what will happen.

One nice moment in this issue comes from the Riddler. He senses something different with Batman. Is this going to lead up into an ongoing Riddler series or a mini series? They could do something with this aspect but I think it would be best to keep it away from the pages of Gotham City Sirens.

Final Verdict
Overall it wasn’t a bad issue but it seems to get away from the real purpose of the Gotham City Sirens series. Why or what was the point of making this issue about the Riddler? We may never know. At least this issue is fun to read so you might as well give it a shot.
