I Am America (And So Can You!)

Author: Steven Colbert
Released: October 9, 2007
Reviewer: Eric
Are we supposed to take Steven Colbert serious? Half the time
he is joking about the news that is going around us, is that
really helpful? It doesn’t matter what questions I ask because I
Am America (And So Can You!) is funny from page one. All the
facts he states are true, he doesn’t change anything, if he does
though it’s for that Colbert humor we know and love.
I
Am America (And So Can You!) is pretty much the Colbert Report
in writing. The humor here is so out there, when Colbert
mentions about his past it is hard to believe him. This isn’t a
bad really, but if you were looking for a biography on Steven
Colbert then you may want to stay away.
Some of the chapters here are so off the wall. America needs to
build a huge wall around the United States if they want to stop
our immigration problem. Read what Steven has to say about
science and how most of it is bogus. These are just two of the
topics that are in this book, you’ll laugh non stop, trust me.
There are extras in this book that are pretty damn cool as well.
A book mark is attached that says First Edition, a nice little
touch that is sure to please some. The book won a Steven Colbert
award already so what better way to celebrate than giving the
buyer some extra stickers to put on your favorite books. Share
the wealth like Steven would. Oh yeah there are some
instructions that tell you how to properly put the book away at
night.
Final Verdict
Guess what I really like this book. I enjoy the Colbert report
and being able to have over two hundred pages with Colbert’s
humor at my finger tips is great. It doesn’t matter what side of
the government branch you love, everyone should enjoy this book
for what its worth.
